children's day is celebrated on 14th of november every year in the memory of late jawaharlal nehru ji's love for children. he used to love all kids and children used to quote him as chacha nehru. he was an inspiration for all the children . 14th november is the day when jawaharlal nehru was born. as a gift the children gave him a rose which he used to put in his special nehru jacket.

Children's day, a day especially for children. This is actually Jawahar Lal Nehru ji's birthday . He loved children very much. 14th November, the day for every child has been waiting for. Every person in his childhood would have waited for this day. There is so much excitement and joy amongst the children. Every school holds several programs for children. In hindi It is known as Bal Diwas. The universal children's day is celebrated on 20th November. This day is observed to promote the objectives outlined in the charter and for the welfare of children. In Australia It is an annual event, celebrated in the 4th week of October. Children's day is celebrated on different days in different countries. But the enthusiasm in all children all around the world is same. I too wait for this this day. It is the second day after my birthday that I wait for. Waiting for children's Day........
