The various national monuments of India are part of ancient heritage of India, something which is closely associated with the identity of the nation. A series of structures or areas deemed to be of national importance are termed as national monuments and are thus conserved.

These monuments, in a way bring to the forefront, the elegance and splendour of the bygone era. We can get a glimpse of India's past through these monuments. With their elaborate superfluities and wonderful architecture, Indian monuments represent one of the most outstanding facets of the multi-faceted Indian culture. The monuments of India must become an inspiration for the future generations.

No law, rule, force can help

Monuments have always been the illustration of wealth and power of a country.

But simply possessing them is not enough. Preserving them should be equally prioritised.

I am sorry to say that this thought has never struck any of us. “I haven’t built them? So why must I clean them.”

Who knows when these mighty structures will crash down? No law, no rule, no force can save our monuments. Only self-realisation can.

Keep factories away

These monuments represent our tradition, history, art and design. They are also the symbols of our architectural skills. Authorities should pay proper attention and save them from ruining away. Industries and factories must be shifted away from the site of monuments to reduce the effect of smoke. There should be proper disposal of garbage, and proper drainage system for waste water as well as industrial effluents.

Stop vandalisers

Every community and society has a very precious heritage which has to be and can be transferred to the next generation. It is the responsibility of the civil society to transfer that heritage to the next generation. It is disheartening to see people, forgetting that they are doing an irreparable damage to these archaeological masterpieces, inscribe their initials, names, or messages on these national treasures.

The case of Qutub Minar

Our monuments were in a much better shape just a few decades agoThe Qutub Minar has tilted 25 inches towards southwest. This is because of the airport nearby. The only way we can to protect these monuments is to follow the rules. We should also make the people aware of the threats to the monuments and the acts passed by government to protect them .

"Speech on conservation of historical

monuments"

Hello everyone my name is (your name).Today i am going to speak about conservation of historical monuments.

Every government makes an effort to protect its historical monuments from various problems since they serve as reminders of the past of each nation. Additionally, there are international organisations like UNESCO that work hard to preserve all of the world's historical sites.

However, in our capacity as responsible citizens, we should make preparations for the preservation of historical sites, and the following are some strategies that might be used in India.

First, you should develop a list of everyone you believe to be concerned about preserving historical sites, and then you should bring everyone on the list together to form a group that will work to preserve different historical sites with little contributions from everyone.

By giving free tours to a variety of historical locations to different people, one can increase the number of volunteers who are willing to assist in the preservation of historical monuments and raise awareness among more people about the need to preserve different historical tourist spots.

Your organisation needs to create a list of priorities that shows which buildings require the most and the least attention. The organisation that stays near to that historical site should receive the list when it is made. As a result, more individuals will join your mission. It is now the duty of a portion of your group to inform the public about the preservation of a significant national historical landmark.

For the benefit of your nation's most important monuments, funds should be raised from group members, and you should encourage others who are not in your group to donate in order to preserve a historical landmark. And in this way, a sizable sum of money ought to be amassed, which ought to be given to government representatives for the improvement of the historical monuments. As more people join your club and you are able to raise more money in this way, you will gradually be able to preserve all of the nation's historical sites.

For the country's historical sites to be preserved, everyone should step forward. Our country owns the monuments, so we are responsible for them.
