Consistency is very important in all aspect of life, whether it is personal life, politics, medical service or business. In fact, consistency is a very important part of “quality” that determines value of anything, right from human relationship to quality of a product or service. Many fail to understand this and land up loosing the very thing they love- relationship, friends, business, customers, market, popularity, faith, trust and honor.
Best things in life are consistent. The nature always assures every night is followed by day, cloudy day followed by sunny day, hope fallowed by every failure, hate followed by love, bad luck followed by good luck. The mothers, of all living being who represent divine quality of Mother Nature are always consistent in loving their children. That is what makes maternal relationship the most valuable for all living being. Mothers never cease to love their children, and continue loving in every condition, as much as they loved when children were born. Mothers’ love for children does not fluctuate with time or other situation. She starts loving children right from the birth till death irrespective of any condition. Fathers love for children is also consistent but attached to mother. That is why father’s love for children may vary if mother die.
A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do. He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall. Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. — 'Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.' — Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood?
