speech on does terrorism have religion
Answers
Terrorism is a global tactic utilized by different ideologies both religious & non religious- separatists, nationalists, white supremacists, communists, neo-nazis, drug cartels, state-sponsored. They all use force, violence and brutality in general to achieve political goals and increase their influence. Religion is just one type of ideology linked to terrorism. The term terrorism is a broad concept, and can't be limited to one religion alone. The media is trying to spin it such a way, and people are brainwashed to believe that terror and extremist groups are exclusively related to a particular faith , although the acts of terror aren't exclusive to one nation, religion or race. There's potential for politico-religious atrocities being associated with almost any religious tradition.
Dictators throughout history have reached the top through violence, assassinations, oppression. Weren't they advocates of terror? The mass atrocities being perpetrated by the western imperialists, colonisers are surprisingly not categorized as terrorism. On the other hand any opposition to it is categorized as terrorism.
The world powers should acknowledge their dubious role in creating, cultivating and abetting domestic and global terrorism, for importing and exporting violence, breeding extremism and generating blowback, which then gets classified as terrorism. There is history of arming religious extremists in pursuit of short-term goals, breeding criminals & inventing crimes, helping to hatch and then foil terrorist plots in order to advance their own sordid agenda: namely, demonizing a community or amassing greater powers under the guise of fighting the war on terrorism.
The only way to stop creating a blowback terrorism is by stopping stirring up conflicts abroad, stop sale of deadly weapons as a part of their imperial agenda & wars abroad, avoid collateral damage affecting millions of innocent civilians , stop colonizing & policing the world through forced foreign occupations.
