A Speech On “Respecting The Environment”

Good morning everyone, I am .......... from ......grade. Today I am going to talk on the topic “respect for the environment.”

It is the common nature of human beings not to value the things which are available free of cost. If you observe, most of the highly precious things available for free are in nature like oxygen without which we cannot live, and it is provided by trees free of cost. But how many of us think this while cutting the trees? Water, again without which we cannot live is nature’s other gift, many times we waste this precious water knowingly or unknowingly. The availability of the potable water in the World has gone down to such an extent that it is said that, the 3rd world war could be fought for the want of water, everyone knows burning of plastic pollutes the air but how many of us replaces our plastic bags with cloth bags? The release of effluents in any waterbody pollutes the water and causes soil and water pollution it is also observed that there is an erroneous violation of rules and regulations on the disposal of effluents.

Looking at these examples. It is very clear that we have to respect and conserve the environment around us, and this has to be done with immediate effect. If we failed to respect the environment there will be irrevocable loss to nature which will ultimately do impact not only human life but also wildlife. The extinction of some of the plant and animal species is another example of our neglect towards conservation of the environment. Each of us has a role and responsibility to protect our lovely environment. At last, I would only say that we have to take care of and respect our selfless Environment.

Thank You
