Its sure that exams test memory not intelligence. Because we write in exam what we were taught, told to write and there in text books. If we try to write our own, there are some teachers who try to find out the mistakes in fact there are nothing.
Everybody thinks that there is only education which makes any student life better. But the realty is the talent hidden in the child makes him a successful person.
Exams helps in which view? It helps just know which is correct which is write.
Exams just test our memory power. But this memory only contains necessary and good stuff. Which may be profitable for our future. It means we have learned from exams and it has taught us what should be and should not be.

At last I like to say that it depends on us,, in which point of view do we take this. If we feel exams are only stuff, it will be only stuff for us. And if we think it is stuff for present but a hidden pearl for further, it helps a lot..

The real definition of education that has been phrased years ago by one of the greatest scientific prodigys seems to have been lost somewhere beneath the heaps of heavy weight books. Education n examinations, nowadays are nothing but a monotonous procedure of cramming facts.
It is true that we have millions of graduates across the world but not even hundreds who are truly educated.The route cause for the situation is that we,students just focus on rote learning rather than acquiring real knowledge. There's a much difference in being literate n being educated.Being literate just implies that we have learnt to read n write,achieved our degrees, but education means to apply our literate knowledge to make a much difference in this world.
This modern era has made everything much easier..Firstly focusing on our studies,memorizing as much as we can, scoring high marks in exams,getting our desired profession .It is true that competition is high these days the ones who are expert in rote learning will be awarded with high salaries but the ones who focus on real education, work hard to learn something are for sure one day or the other become an inspiration to the mankind.
So the thing is that we have to realize that exams are a part of studies,sometimes necessary to memorize but they are not everything. A perfect e.g to this is that we see 100s of engineers graduating every year but very few are perfect in their work,many fail in constructing good buildings inturn killing many, living in them,at the same time we see many road contractors in our localities who construct perfect buildings without even qualifying a normal graduatary exam. Here the normal contractor is so called an "illiterate" to the society but the skill he has has failed many professional graduates.So achieving skill n knowledge is the basic thing rather than concentrating only on exams. Education should really make a human being a real humane creature,teach him with perfect values and make him truly eligible to fulfill his purpose in life.
Anything may be fatal or beneficial depends on us. So let us learn the content rather than cramming facts n apply the learnt knowledge to create a meaningful,purposeful n satisfying life for ourselves inorder to make a difference in the lives of others..
