Explanation:

Teachers day is celebrated with a great and grand show in our school St. Peter convent school. We as students take this day to make our teachers enjoy their day by conducting programs wherein which we see to it that each teacher participates and make it a grand success.

Our teachers also stage programs and shows for us. This year they asked me to be the Principal for the entire day.

I was mighty thrilled and felt honored to be a principal for even in my wildest dreams I never thought I would get any close to that position.

Being a Principle of a school is not only a responsible position but also one where we must tread very carefully after all the entire future is in the hands of the school students. They are the future of the nation.

I took this very seriously. The teachers were the observers. They would be recording every activity that I was going to do.

First, I called the teachers whom I had selected, for a small meeting. I told them each one of them was responsible for their class students. I asked them to inform me of any hardship they faced regarding any matter in the school like administrative or fee structure or discipline.

I said that all that will be taken care of. But the students are their responsibility.

I went to one classroom to check and I found many children were not able to follow the maths lesson. So, I immediately called students of the higher class to help the students by teaching them the way they followed and believe it the students who could not solve the problems were able to do sums quickly and with confidence.

I felt I succeeded in my task as principal and was happy too. The next day I returned back to be a student, but many teachers followed the system of students helping students to cope up with the subjects. A good end to our Teacher day celebration.
