Honorable principal, respected teachers, super-visors and all my dear friends. I wish a very warm good morning to one and all present here. "Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world". With these words bye Nelson Mandela, I would like to start my speech on the topic "There is no age bar for learning". We have all heard people saying "I'm too old for that", haven't we? Well, people must not say that in the case of learning. When we say that learning has no age bar, it means that a person must be ready to learn and acquire knowledge at any stage of life. Education is a must for us all to progress well in this world. Some people who are unducated due to the poor facilities of schools in the olden times, hesitate to ask help from others. They do not feel free to approach anyone for help, as they feel ashamed that they are uneducated or illiterate. However, this must not be so, because we all must realise that education is a life-long process. Like how Henry Ford once said "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young". So it is very important that we always be ready to lend a helping hand to those uneducated people, who need our help. And, since learning has no age bar, we must not hesitate or feel shy to acquire knowledge in any little way, and at any age. I conclude my words by saying that, education and learning has no age bar. So go look for education in ever nooo an corner, so that we can become a well educated citizen of the society in the future. Thank you and have a nice day.
