I’m sure that most women have experienced the feeling of being oppressed just for being a woman. We shouldn’t do this, we are not allowed to say that, we can’t behave like that, etc. It’s sad, but the reality is that many people still have certain stereotypes about the role of women in the society.
They have their own idea about how every woman should look and act. For me, the biggest problem is not how many people still have this thinking, even though it’s still a problem. The biggest problem for me is how to find the right way to empower women who have to face and overcome those obstacles.
Listening to motivational speeches for women is the classic and traditional way of empowering women.
We have collected our favourite motivational speeches for women and speech on women’s role in the society. Instead of feeling angry or down, check out these amazing words of encouragement and boost your confidence.

Speech on women’s role in the society 1) Muniba Mazari, Vcon Malaysia 2017
Live your own Life
During Vcon Malaysia, in 2017, the Pakistani artist, model, activist, motivational speaker, singer, and television host, Muniba Mazari, talked about her touching story. She was only 18 when she got married, as her father wanted so.
Her husband fell asleep while driving and they got into a car accident. He managed to save himself, but she was badly injured. She was told that she’ll never walk again, she’ll never be able to bear children. Instead of giving up, she decided to free herself from constraints and started living her own life.
Although she gave a number of motivational speeches for women and brought lots of women back to life, she still thinks she is more of a storyteller. She continues to struggle for women’s rights in the society and gives speeches on women’s role in the society, both in English and in Urdu.
She wants to change the whole world, not only her country. She is the first Pakistani’s wheelchair model, The National Ambassador for UN Women Pakistan.
What amazes me in her speeches is her strength, her willingness to continue the battle. It’s hard to say which part of her speech I like the most. I like every single word, but the ending is just great.
Don’t die before your death. Be grateful to be alive. Live every moment.
A woman, who once couldn’t contradict her father’s word and got married to a man she didn’t know, is now known as Pakistan’s Iron Lady.
Speech on women’s role in the society 2) Ashley Graham, Women Mean Business Luncheon 2016
Be your own role model like Asley Graham is hers.
American plus-size model, body activist, Ashley Graham’s motivational speeches for women on loving themselves take public speaking to the next level.
Ashley revolutionized the modelling world as she broke all stereotypes of 90/60/90 size models and became a role model of beauty for many women.
Today she shares her experience by delivering speeches on women’s role in the society. She wants women to value themselves and to understand that their imperfections make them unique.
She remembers the time when she was disgusted with the woman that she saw in the mirror until she understood that perfection and beauty can’t go hand in hand. Today she loves every single part of her body and gives inspirational speeches for women. She pays special attention to teenage girls. That’s the age when they start shaping their opinion about themselves, that’s the time of self-acceptance.
She has participated in humanitarian missions not only in English and American societies but in South African communities. Graham is a proponent of the Health at Every Size movement.
Speech on women’s role in the society 3) Michelle Obama, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women’s Summit 2015
A woman’s place is wherever she wants to be.
America’s former First lady and Fortune’s Most Powerful Woman, Michelle Obama, delivered an eye-watering motivational speech on women’s role in society. She talked about what an educated woman can do for the country and for her own family.
I like her style of delivering speeches. It’s very light and accompanied by jokes. She talks about serious issues such as attitude towards girls’ education not only in English speaking countries but in every corner of the world. She brings forth issues such as girl’s early marriage, child labour. She brings an example of a girl in Senegal who loves to study. The girl says that her dream is seeing her school as prestigious as Harvard or Princeton.
