Respected prinipal sir/mam,worthy teachers and all my dear friends! Good morning!Today I am going to speak about good deeds reflect good character.
The times change,so do the traditions but the values and ethics do not change, they always remain the same.Actions always speak louder than words thus the good deeds reflect good character. Gandhi ji empitomized ideals of simple living and high thinking. He said," if money is lost, nothing is lost, if health is lost , something is lost but if character is lost everything is lost. A person's character is revealed only through his actions. Appearances may be deceptive but a person can't be pretending his entire life. If a person helps others, it reveals his kind nature. If a person behaves rudely, it shows his arrogance.Good deeds can be feeding the hungry, teaching the illiterate, fighting for the rights of the downtrodden, conserving natural resources, etc.If each one of us gives back a little more to society than we take from it, then there can be progress and prosperity.
Thank you!

                               Good deeds reflect good character

Good morning everyone present; I am going to expatiate on ‘Good deeds reflect good character’. People are born; people die. But some people after they are gone leave behind them a trail of light that illumines the path for the striving followers. Longfellow has praised such people in his poem, 'A Psalm of Life'. He says:

"Lives of great men all remind us,

We can make our lives sublime,

And, departing, leave behind us

Footprints on the sands of time;"

Wise people say, ‘Actions speak louder than words.’ A man is known by his actions. People who are great, their actions are always great. On the other hand ordinary people act ordinarily; and villains act evilly. Our deeds are the fruit of the tree of our character.

All great men and women of all climes and times have been men of great deeds. Jesus Christ, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Yogananda, Vivekanada, Bhagat Puran Singh, Tagore, etc became great because of their great deeds! That’s why it has been rightly said, ‘Watch your thoughts. They become words. Watch your words. They become deeds. Watch your deeds. They become habits. Watch your habits. They become character. Character is everything.’

We must train the children and students from the very young age the art of developing a sound character. Teachers, parents, and other elders must ensure to provide healthy environment to the young children to develop great characters. For this, they must be perfect role models for them.
