My Hi fi grandma

I love my Grandma.I call her Nani.Nani is very sweet and caring person.Whenever I visit her she treats me like a god.But when I comeback to Delhi she tells me that she misses me so much.I feel I can help her to know about Facebook,whattsap chats and video call.So that she can contact me whenver she wished to.

Last I visited her in May.Then I did teach her about video call.But when I returned back and I made a videocall she wasn't able to pick up.But this Diwali vacations I visited her and taught her in detail.I had time so I made a Facebook account of Nani and we searched for some of her favorite friends and relatives and added them all.Nani was so happy to see pics of old relatives and told me how they all looked last time she met them and they have changed now

Now my Nani is Hi fi Nani.She can chat,type,call and make video calls.She can see and check Facebook and Twitter updates and comment on them.Nani I can't explain

how proud I am today.

Explanation:

Once when I had gone to visit my grandparents, I knew how much they missed me and wanted to talk often. But since I live so far away from their village that there was no other way except through phone calls.

So, I decided to maybe teach her some of the easier ways to operate a cell phone. First, we start with a normal phone call, how to dial and how to receive a call. it wasn't easy and it took more than a week to finally get the hang of it.

Then comes the part where I tried to teach her the way for a video call so that she can at times see me live. So, we first began to learn how the internet works. And then slowly we moved to the apps, how it works and all details. It took almost a month of 'lessons' to try her first attempt at video calling. With the help of my uncles and grandpa, they assured me that she will be able to do it herself now.

It's been a week that I have returned to Delhi and for the very first time since, my grandmother had called me twice but with some glitches. It is still a 'lesson in progress', and hopefully we will be getting better at it sooner than later.
