Independence day of India is celebrated on fifteenth August every year.it is celebrated because India became independent from the British. India got independence on fifteenth of august,1947. there is flag hoisting and parade done everywhere.t here r inspirational speeches and the leaders and freedom fighters r honoured because of their hardwork,and sacrifices to make the country independent.some of those leaders are Mahatma Gandhi,s ubhash chandra bose, bhagat singh,and many more.there r cultural programmes held in school .
this is the day to make everyone love their country more than ever.
this year is the 72nd independence day.
this day is to mark Indias independence and make its citizens proud if being indians
