it can be a boon as you can cand do a lot of things in internet like communicating and research whereas if you are researching through books then need tosearch all lot places for the books which is a waste of time plus you'll hvve multiple number of books which would take hours to get the right answer you are searching for . And for comunnicating if you use letters or fax it will take for the reciever to recieve it and vice versa whereas internet can send the the messages in matter of seconds vice versa.
