yes i think it is commercialized because as we compare to previous days we used to study by going near guru(teachers) but now a days teachers are only coming near to us to teach

In our olden days people visit the guru's and in the sense of now a days we people,students are going to guru's and ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE from them so that,our education is being commercialized.
