Good morning to respected principal, madam, teachers and all my dear friends. My name is—– I study in class—– today I would like to give a speech on cleanliness. Cleanliness is very important in our life from all the aspects. Cleanliness means the complete absence of dirt, dust, stains and bad smells from all the surrounding areas.
The purpose of cleanliness is to get health, beauty, remove offensive odour as well as avoid the spread of dirt and pollution. we clean our body parts on daily basis in order to keep cleanliness and freshness. The variety of products and water is used to clean different things. We know and we can see that cleaning remove dirt and bad smell but we cannot see through our eyes that cleaning helps to remove harmful bacteria and viruses from the things. It keeps us healthy and away from many diseases.
There are two types of cleanliness one is physical cleanliness and another is internal cleanliness. The physical or outside cleanliness keeps us clean from outside and gives us feeling of wellbeing with confidence. The internal cleanliness keeps us mentally peaceful and away from anxiety. We also need to keep our surrounding clean so that we can live in a healthy and clean environment. It will keep us away from many epidemic diseases and give us the feeling of social wellbeing.
It is said that “cleanliness is next to godliness”. It is said by John Wesley. Cleanliness must be the highest priority in all the homes from the children so that a little one can practice it as a regular habit in their day to day life. It can benefit to all throughout the life. It is a good habit which not only benefits a person, however; it benefits the family, society and country and this whole planet. The cleanliness can be developed at any age, however, best to practice it from the childhood. I, as a child requesting all the parents that please help your kids to make a habit of cleanliness as it’s you who can give this country a good citizen.
Cleanliness attracts positive energies towards it and it can impress anyone. In developed countries, the level of cleanliness is generally very high because of the good citizens, strict government rules, high-level education, and proper understanding of the people. The persons with good habits can change the environment of a home, however, a country with good citizens can change its future as well as the environment of the whole planet.
The maintenance of cleanliness in any country depends on the education level, poverty and population of the country. The education is very important as the good education can reduce the poverty level and produce relief from the overpopulation. If the citizens of the country will be educated they can well maintain the cleanliness all through the country. They can pass good habits to their next generation also.
It is the very serious topic and we have to maintain the cleanliness in our country which can be better started from our homes if we really want the development in India. It is our responsibility to keep our surrounding areas neat and clean.
