Answer:

                     Political Enslavement

Political enslavement is a curse on any nation as it deprives it of its identity. During imperialism many European countries such as England, France, Portugal, Spain, etc. made many countries in Asia and Africa their slaves by depriving them of political freedom.

Great leaders in these countries launched struggle against these imperialistic countries for freedom. India also had to fight a long struggle for Independence. Many freedom fighters sacrificed their lives. Mahatma Gandhi led the freedom movement in non-violent manner. Finally India gained political Independence on August 15, 1947.

Nelson Mandela also had to fight war against racial discrimination. He felt choked as he grew up. He had to face discrimination at almost every step. Finally, his struggle bore fruit; he created history when he was elected as the president of South Africa. It is for freedom that he dedicated his life. His country also attained freedom from racial discrimination and political enslavement on May 10, 1994.

In conclusion it can be said political freedom is essential for man’s happiness. Without it man’s life is meaningless.
