A grand and glorious morning to everyone present over here. Respected Principal Sir, worthy teachers and all my dear friends. This is _______ of class ____ got this golden opportunity to speak a few words on this auspicious occasion of Republic day.

In India, we all celebrate Republic day on 26 January each year. This is because, as we all know, the Indian Constitution was enacted on this day. A proud moment for the country, this day is considered as a national holiday. A lots of programmes are performed and flag is hoisted in each institution.

Indian Constitution was completely written on November 26 , 1949 but was enacted on 26 January, 1950 . Indian Constitution is the longest written constitution in the world. With a lots of rights, it also says that citizens of India has some duties towards country because "People tend to forget their duties but remember their rights. "

So, this republic day, let's take a pledge that we will never misuse our rights because "my right ends where others right starts" and should fulfill the duties that we have for our country.

Jai hind! Jai Bharat!
