शहरी जीवन ने हमारे देश को बहुत अधिक विकसित किया है। शहरों के तकनीकी विकास से देश ने काफी तरक्की की है। शहरों की बढ़ती संख्या से न केवल हमारे देश से गरीबी दूर हो रही है अपितु यहाँ शिक्षित वर्ग के उत्थान से रोजगार की संभावनाएं भी बढ़ रहीं हैं।

शहरी जीवन पर कुछ पंक्तियाँ इस प्रकार हैं -

“ शहरों में आशा है,
जीवन की परिभाषा है,
प्यार विश्वास सम्मान है,
संस्कारों का इतिहास है। ”
