Everything has two sides:a positive and a negative one. Our religious beliefs and rituals are not the exception either.
In our society there are many practices which are considered as social wrongs. These include sati system,child marriage, dowary system, killing of female infants,racial discrimination,sex discrimination,etc.
Now the question arises ,how on Earth did these small - small social evils create hurdles for the development of such a big nation. That is very simple if you look at it with a bird's eye view. As we know that from small droplets of water a big ocean is built,in a very similar way ,small small wrong leads to a big mistake one day .
Nobody knows what great work would a girl baby would do when she is grown up,may be she would invent something which would be a great help to humanity. Nobody knows what would happen ,so we should be future oriented and clear all such disbeliefs.
