A very Good morning (Or the time when the speech is to be delivered) to my respected teachers and all my dear friends.
Me Raven2005 ( your name) from (ur class) is today going to speak upon an important topic 'SOCIAL EVILS'.
Social evils are considered to be a hurdle in the development of a country India.
Social evils and development are related to each other as more the rate of social evils, less of development.
India is rich in its natural resources,culture and diversity.But the social evils are not allowing a country to develop.
Sovial evil is the meaningless practices which ruins the social and scientic development of the society.
There have been many social reformers who fought against social evils and are successful in eradicating some of them like sati, untouchability and child marriage. But certain evils were so deep-rooted that they still exist.
Dowry which still exist as a social evil is one of the crimes today. Taking or giving dowry is both considered to be as a crime. It was actually meant to give things and money (स्त्रिधन) to a girl after her marriage so she can live A comfortable life after the marriage.but nowadays it is just like a business.
is not just about dowry but there are many social evils which are destroying our country. if you do not uproot the social evils it will never make our country's tag change ' developed' rather than 'developing'.
so now I end my speech. Our generation the future of India prevents social evils and have a developed India.
