                     Temptation is greed

Good morning everyone present here; I am going to elaborate on ‘Temptation is the greed’.

Well, I believe temptation and greed are two different things. Though both of them are ‘desires’; but there is a marked difference between their essence.

Temptation is a desire to do or have something that may be bad or wrong. For example, at home when you feel an urge to eat your brother or sister’s chocolate lying in fridge may be termed as temptation.

On the contrary greed is when you have your chocolate with you and you also want to possess your brother or sister’s chocolate with you; you don’t want they should eat any chocolate brought by your parents.

Temptation is not as evil as greed is. Each one of us has temptation; but then we overcome it or don’t do much harm to others. However, in greed we may harm and hurt others by misappropriating something that belongs to others.

In conclusion, it can be said that temptation is not greed; we may indulge ourselves in temptation now and then. However, we must never give in to the nudges of greed in our hearts as the consequences of greed are always painful.
