Decreasing Humanity- A Menace to the Society

Good morning everyone present. I am going to expatiate on ‘Decreasing Humanity- A Menace to the Society’. Humanity is in decline. The entire mankind appears to be suffering from the ailment of selfishness and greed. The feelings of fraternity and mutual love are dwindling fast.

The present state of human relations is quite grim! The once quite healthy and robust relations have become quite tenuous! The canker that has undermined the strength of human relations is materialism. What has happened to human values? The morals have gone so down that prime purpose of man's existence is pecuniary pursuits. Man has stooped so low that he sacrifices even the most sacred relations for the sake of material gains. Gone are the days of brotherly, sisterly, fatherly, or motherly love. Man can break all ties of love and respect for the sake of money and property! All ethics, etiquette, decency, and decorum have gone to dogs. Life has become merely trade, commerce and profit earning. So wherever man finds some financial gain or advantage, he honors those relations. The rest is least said the better!

This degradation of moral values is visible everywhere. Everyone just seems to be living for greed, money, pleasure, selfishness! There is no concern for the character, conscience, morality, and ethics. As a result the quality of life has gone down quite a bit. Let’s wake up! If we have to save the entire world, we must emphasize on preserving humanity. Wise teachers of mankind taught us to love one another. Let’s not forget their wise teachings. Let’s keep humanity alive; if humanity lives, we live; if it dies, our planet dies with it.
