Truth is light to the human soul. Truth is what is true, that is, what is objectively real. To walk in truth,
First: open your eyes. (Yes your soul has eyes). We live in a dark world; a world full of half truths and total lies. To find the light you must actively “look” for it. Seek and you will find.
2. When you see a light move towards it. If it is moving, follow it. This means changing your behavior so that what you do and what you love matches the truth. Failure to act on truth puts out the light. Don’t hide your light under a bed. Put it up on the wall where you and everyone else can enjoy it’s benefit.
3. Don’t be afraid of what you see reflected in the mirror. Yes it is bad. You have a terminal disease. But there is good news. There is a physician who can heal your soul. His name is Jesus, The Messiah. He is waiting right now for you to make an appointment with Him.
Here is what he said about walking in the Truth: “if you continue in my word then are you my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” And he also said “I am the way, the truth and the life. He who follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
Do you really want to walk in the truth? God is light. If you live for God, God will live with you, and you will walk in the truth forever.
