Media is a great influence to teenagers. It can be positive as well as negative. Teenagers are bound to get influenced by such things. Media plays a rather dominating role in one's life. You name it! Biologically to mentally what hasn't changed since teenagers are exposed to the world of media.
Teenagers are said to be in the most crucial and the learning phase in life. When media comes into the story, we teenagers grasp most of the things. Thanks to our ever excited and curious minds.
Now here's when the teenagers divide them into two groups.
One who learn things important for them. They make full use of this time. And what do we find next? Successful teenagers with happy life, smiling faces and sweets around.
The next set of teenagers are those who get influenced in a negative way. Having a rude attitude towards others, just like celebrities. Because they are so 'Cool'. Getting into relationships just for the fun of it. Fooling around wearing shades and commenting on every single person they come across on the street. So, What do we find next? These teenagers struggling for universities, recognition. Going about doing foul works, sad faces. Depression.
Media sure has an impact, But all depends on these teenagers who choose their group. It is they who are responsible for such impacts.
Thanks. Hope it helps.
