We all recognize the fact and have experienced it too, that life is full of sweet as well as bitter moments. If life is about predictable and favorable moments, it is also about uncertain and adverse ones. The journey of life takes us on a roller coaster ride through all its ups and downs of emotions, vicissitudes, happiness and sadness. There is an inevitable transition of times, just as seasons, when life seems beautiful and when it does not seem that way. There are events that make us elated and ones that leave us devastated. In a nutshell, life is actually a mixed bag of good and bad moments and events. It is not always a sweet story of triumph, it is as much a painful story of defeat and downfall, a story that has a mix of all the ingredients lending life its true nature and color.
Second chances and forgiveness starts in my own life! It is good to forgive, but even better to be forgiven. I have made mistakes, like most people, but my friends and family are so loving, they always forgive me. Forgiveness and second chances are times where you show to people that: yes, I made a mistake; yes, I am sorry for what I did; and yes, I have changed.
Second chances are always great for those who deserve them. People should be able to live their life without wondering: “Am I doing something wrong? I hope nobody gets mad at me.” If you really show remorse about what you have done, you will usually get a second chance.
