Winning is not as important as participating:
People always think of success. They think of winning. But, they don't always realize that winning is not so important than participating. Yes, I agree with that winning is good, as I am not denying this thing. But, participating is the main thing, as there is always something to learn and know which we don't know so that we can aim at my weaknesses, and work hard at it.
If you can win that is also good, but winning doesn't teach you something. But, it does teach us the joy of winning. Winning is something you take over because, you know a lot about it. So, there is nothing to learn by winning. But, if we fail, we have a chance to recognize that weaknesses of ours, and instead of breaking up with sadness and emotion - our goal should be to study it so much that the next time - no one can win over us. We always have to participate and if we encounter failure, we will try again.
If you feel so sad that you could not do it at the first try, then try not to be so. It is ok to fail the first time, not all men are such lucky goodies. Do you know even famous people strived for excellence which did not come to them very easily? Notable examples are Albert Einstein and Thomas Alva Edison - they did not seem to be doing very well at their childhood. Read their biographies and you can learn many wonderful things which will give you more courage.
In a nutshell, participating means a lot. When we win, we can realize that we have mastered something by hard work and our skills. If we lose, the hidden potential to win strengthens our desire of winning. Winning doesn't teach us anything but participating does. In fact, we only win, if we work enough for it, and if only if we have the willpower to win. If we are serious from the very beginning, you will succeed in winning at the first chance, but if you don't, I can assure you that you will next time.
So, I briefly conclude my speech in favour of the fact that, " Winning is not always so important than participating ".
