Speech on topic 'Every individual is unique' for Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam memorial elocution competition '

Greetings to all,

Respected dignitaries, teachers and my friends, it's my honor to be able to share my thoughts on the topic 'Every individual is unique.'

It is rightly said that every individual is unique because there is no other person like you in the world. To become unique requires excellence and excellence is a continuous process.  Everyone has his or her own talent, thinking process, habits, perspective which is unique or matchless. We should all celebrate this uniqueness than trying fit everyone in the same box.

Uniqueness should be treated as an asset. If we consider world as a machine, then some people are cogs, some are wheels, some are buttons, some are connectors, some are dynamo and so on. Everyone’s part in the machinery is unique. One part of it gone missing, machine will be shut down.

Life would become boring if we all are same and think alike. If everyone dresses up similarly or all go for same work every day, the life will become mundane. So, the difference has to be treated as uniqueness.

We should learn celebrate uniqueness in every aspect of life. Hereby I conclude by saying - A lion can’t become a horse and a tortoise can’t soar into the air.

Thank you.

Every individual is unique:

Every person in this earth is unique. Everyone is very good at something and very bag at something. Some people tend to find the thing they are good at very easily. The potential of a person is found based on the environment of the person.

A child with a good economic background can find his/her interest in both education and sport. The child can continue to be in it as long as possible. When a child has no economic background, then that child eventually gets a burden to take of the family. This rejects the "follow the dream" for that child and he/she works for bread. A person also requires moral support to bring out his/her uniqueness.

When there is no favorable environment for the person, then he/she gets to do a work that satisfies their basic need. It eventually degrades a person and adapt to live the life that way. Thus, one may no need to give millions to bring out a uniqueness in the child but I should give a pat on the back of the child. It can bring out the talent in any child.
