Answer:

As you know, 3/4 parts of the world are filled with water. In India, Kerala was especially honored with water in ancient times. But now the picture has changed.

Nearly one billion people in the world do not have access to clean drinking water. And if the government does not care about the community, then the number of poor people in drinking water can be up to 2.5 million in just 25 years. And the majority of these people will be in India. Therefore, the former Prime Minister, Vajpayee, warned of opening a two-day seminar on rain water harvesting in New Delhi on May 22, 2000.

Calling upon people's involvement in tackling water scarcity, the Prime Minister said that the Center and the State can not be expected to deal with this problem. He emphasized that in the need for the movement of the Onion Wide people, NGO-Panchayat Raj Institute, business and citizen will be involved in managing the country's water resources, in which rainwater harvesting will be included in the form of a solution which is its "simplicity , Efficacy and strength ".

The voice of the Prime Minister should get an echo in every honest citizen's tone. Even in water resources we see strange paradoxes. While millions struggle to get potable water, there is another India when people are wasted and contaminate it, it becomes easily available. Both of these countries are not co-existent.

It is most beneficial in the construction of large storage tanks which are expensive. Another way to use Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting is to collect it so that it can recharge the wells instead of flowing in the rivers instead of flowing in the ground. Thus, by recharging the ground water by collecting water from roofs, the table rises and nearby wells keep the water throughout the year.

Over the centuries, people have relied on rainwater harvesting to supply water for domestic, landscape, livestock and agricultural uses. Prior to developing large centralized water supply systems, rain water was collected from the roofs and stored on the site in the tanks.

With the development of large, reliable water treatment and distribution systems and more economical good drilling equipment, rain harvesting system has been forgotten, even if they provide a source of pure, soft water
