We are all born as equals but it is our choices in life that lead us to our success or our failure. While we are growing up we inculcate some habits and skills along building up character traits. It is our hard work and dedication towards our aspiration which eventually pays off.

A person who takes things lightly and is negligent may not always be successful but a person, who perseveringly follows his aim, will never fail. So yes, indeed we are born equal but failure is a choice.
