Good morning everyone present; I am going to put my views across to you on ‘Why it is important that students should volunteer in fields of interest’.

Well, there is a very simple reason behind this argument; one can do well only in a field one is interested in. Can anyone continue doing something that does not give joy or happiness in return? Well, certainly not.

Suppose one is burdened with the task one has no interest; will it do good to anyone? The answer is obvious.

All great men who did phenomenal work in their fields were men and women who were extremely interested in their fields. Einstein was interested in physics and math; Charles Dickens was interested in literature; Lincoln was interested in politics; Tendulkar and Dhoni were interested in cricket; it was their interest in these fields that made them legends.

Especially for students, if they volunteer for the field of their choice, they will do exceptionally well in them.  It is the interest that keeps one going on in spite of challenges. Especially in studies and choosing career, they must choose only that that interests them.

So, in conclusion it can be said that it is very important to volunteer and explore only those fields that one finds interesting.
