Good morning everyone present; I am going to give a brief talk on Communication Technology and Development.
If I say the modern world is run by communication technology, I am not exaggerating. You must be wondering HOW? Well, let me explain. Everything in the modern world is technology dependent. And the technology is dependent on Communication technology. All the banks, national or international trade, communication, internet, GPS, e-mails, digital transactions, almost everything is dependent on internet and tele-communication facilities and infra-structure. And communication technology are the back-bone of this infrastructure. If all the communication technology in the world stopped working, there would be a digital blackout. Owing to this digital black out the airplanes and ships will lose track of their routes; even monitoring communication technology and other space missions will become impossible.
All the communication among nations of the world will get disrupted. All websites, social networking sirs, online transactions will be halted. The world will be in utter darkness in broad day light. Communication technology plays a very crucial role in the development of a nation. Owing to defense communication technology the nations keep themselves safe and protected. All the advanced defense systems are operated by using communication technology. Without them the nations will become vulnerable to many hostile, anti-national threats.
So, in conclusion it can be said without communication technology, no development is possible in the modern world. How much a country is developed and safe, depends upon the quality and advancement of communication technology.
