I am from class xxx, xxx school. I feel very much proud to speak about 'Kargil Vijay Diwas'.

Explanation:

• The war intensified between India and Pakistan, when our army professionals planned an operation called Vijay. The Kargil war s fought for more than 60 days and there were heavy loss on both sides. Finally with the help of strategy used in operation Vijay, India regained control of all previously held territory. Kargil Vijay Diwas, named after the operation Vijay 26 July 1999.  
• Functions organised to remember and pay tribute to the warriors.
• Tributes paid for the war heroes. Many people and leaders gathered at India gate to pay homage for the heroes who lost their lives. Leaders remembered the contribution of armed forces during the war during the event. Medals and honours had been provided to the army professionals.  
• The event ended up with saying Jai Hind all together for the martyred soldiers.  
• The Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated in India on every year in the same date.
