Answer is 6 kms. It's pretty easy to solve the sum.
Assume the total distance as x km.

Then, total time = 84 minutes = \frac{7}{5} hours

Two thirds of the distance = \frac{2x}{3} km, similarly the rest of the distance = 1-\frac{2x}{3} = \frac{x}{3} km.

Now, according to question,

\frac{\frac{2x}{3} }{4} + \frac{\frac{x}{3}}{5}  = \frac{7}{5}
On solving the value of x from the above equation, the value is 6 km.

Thanks.

take total distance= x km

total time=84/60=7/5hr

two thirds of D=2x/3
the rest of the distance =x/3

Now, ATQ

(2x/3*1/4)+(x/3*1/5)=x
If you solve this till end, you will get ans as 6km
