ANSWER:-

A scalar quantity has only magnitude and no direction. Speed has only magnitude and it does not have any direction that is why, speed is a scalar quantity.

A vector quantity has magnitude as well as direction. Velocity has magnitude and also shows a definite direction therefore,velocity is vector quantity.

Speed with direction is velocity....
