Answer:

Given :-

Speed of a car increases from 18 km/h to 72 km /h in 5 seconds.

To Find :-

Acceleration

Solution :-

Converting km/h into m/s

1 km/h = 5/18 m/s

18 km/h = 18 × 5/18 = 5 m/s

72 km/h = 72 × 5/18 = 4 × 5 = 20 m/s

Now

We know that

a = v - u/t

a = 20 - 5/5

a = 15/5

a = 3

Hence,

Acceleration is 3 m/s²

Answer:

3 m/s^2

Explanation:

Initial velocity =>18km/hr =5 m/s

final velocity => 72km/hr = 20m/s

SO,

Acceleration= final velocity - initial velocity/time

= v - u/t

= 20-5/5

= 3m/s^2....

Hope this is helpful to you....
