Explanation:

85 km/hr

1 hr = 60 min

distance 1 = 85 × 15/60 = 21.25 km

distance 2 = 60 × 20/60 = 20 km

total distance = 21.25 + 20 = 41.25 km

total time = 15 + 20 = 35 min

average speed = total distance/ total time = (41.25/35) × 60 ~ 70.7 km/hr

Answer:

60 min = 85

1 = 85/60 km

15= 85/60×15

=21.25 km

60 =60

1 = 1

20 = 20 km

total distance = 41.25 km

avg speed = 41.25/35 = 1.18 km/hr

= 1.18 × 18/5 m/s

= 4.24 m/s
