speed of a car is z km/hr. in the first two hours, the car travels 25 km. total distance travelled by the car in 3 hours can be written as?

3z km/hr as its speed is z km/hr it will be multiplied by 3

Hello there!!

Here is your answer:

In 2 hours, car travels 25 km

Speed = distance/time
z = 25/2
z = 12.5km/h

Now we’ve to find total distance travelled by the car in 3 hour:
Speed = distance/time
12.5 = distance/3
12.5 x 3 = distance
37.5 = distance

Hence total distance travelled by that car in 3 hours is 37.5km.
