n1/n2=v2/v1=1.5/(4/3)=v2/2*10^8
9/8*2*10^8=v2
v2= 2.25*10^8m/s

Given :

Speed of light in glass is , v_g=2\times 10^{8}\ m/s .

Refractive index of glass , n_g = 1.5 .

To Find :

The speed of light in medium whose refractive index is , n=\dfrac{4}{3} .

Solution :

Let , speed of light in medium be v .

We know , speed of light is inversely proportional the refractive .

Therefore ,

\dfrac{v_g}{v}=\dfrac{n}{n_g}

Putting all given values in above equation :

 \dfrac{2\times 10^8}{v}=\dfrac{\dfrac{4}{3}}{1.5}\\\\\dfrac{2\times 10^8}{v}=\dfrac{4}{4.5}\\\\v=\dfrac{2\times 10^8\times 4.5}{4}\\\\v=2.25\times 10^8\ m/s

The speed of light in the medium is 2.25\times 10^8\ m/s .
