When a ball is dropped from certain height, it moves under the influence of gravity.

That means, the acceleration of the ball is "acceleration due to gravity"

Acceleration due to gravity = g = 9.8 m/sec²

The speed of the ball is given as below with respect to time.

v = u + at

Here is v is speed at t seconds.

u is the initial speed which is zero when we drop a ball.

a = g

t is the time.

The speed is independent of height.

Hence the equation in our case is v = 0 + gt = 9.8t.

So the graph is y = 9.8x.

This line goes through (0, 0) and has a slope of 9.8.
