Got a new cell phone, feeling great and status updated. Now waiting for likes and comments, this is all social networking these days. Whether a 13 year old girl or a boy, everyone is so curious to update status and then checking after every five minutes as to how many likes has increased ? Craze for social networking sites is increasing day by day among youths.
Social networking is actually a means of communication with your past and present but these days it doesn't seem so. In the past years, had everyone would have imagined that a ten year old boy/girl would ever be so curious to update their status with a picture of their own in newly bought clothes? The answer is no. Way back 10 years nobody ever knew what social networking sites are and gradually with the advancement of technology, social networking sites came into existence and gradually attracted youngsters, specially kids, who actually have no idea what social networking means.
Kids do not understand that world of social networking is actually a transparent world and there is lack of privacy. Certain features on these sites are not equipped with privacy setting and your stuff is open to all and one actually has no idea as to who is visiting your profile because your profile is open to all. As said 'sharing is Caring' but sharing on social networking sites is not caring, rather giving the culprits an opportunity to peek into your private life and no one is to be blamed for.
So allowing strangers to peek into someone's personal life is very dangerous and strictly be restricted. So think before you act, think before you share and think before you update on social networking sites.
