Since the beginning of the 21st century, modern life has led both parents to work for longer hours, and consequently spending less hours with their children. Some people believe that parents who are working for longer hours have the legal right, while others argue that this issue will cause a negative effect on children. This essay will discuss the main reason which lead both parents to leave their children for longer hours and also will discuss the problem which will be developed due to this fact.
The major reason which leads parents to leave their children at homes alone is the increasing the requirements of lives. These days, most products have become expensive, and this demands both parents to work hard to cover the needs of lives. Recent research, which was conducted in the USA, has shown that 90% of American men and women work to meet the increasing the prices of the products. Therefore, it seems clear that both parents are required to work to cover the higher demand of life.
Working both parents for longer hours can damage the relationships between family members. Family members spend less hours together which can lead their children toward the criminal environment. Recent research, which was conducted in Jordan, has shown that 99% of the criminal children have gone to this field due to home environment, where they do not find any care from their parents. Thus, working parents for longer hours lead children to the criminal world.
