The Alarm of Terror
It was a bright morning. Mohit was reading a book on his lawn. Suddenly a man in a black outfit threw a bag in his garden and ran away. Mohit tried to follow him but he had already left. Mohit rushed inside the house and called his father.
After he explained the entire ordeal to his father, they decided to take a closer look at the bag. Upon nearing, they could suddenly hear a ticking sound."Should we try opening it?" asked Mohit. Hesitantly his father agreed and they both went closer to open the bag. As soon as Mohit pulled the zip, a shrill alarm sound started to ring. Startled, both of them dashed towards their house, when suddenly they heard a hysteric laugh from outside. When they looked up, they were surprised to see that it was Mohit's uncle, and his father's cousin, Varun. Mohit also recognised his outfit as the one which was worn by the man who dropped the bag.
"I knew the prank would be successful!" said Varun excitedly. He opened the bag to show that the ticking noise was from an alarm clock. Both Mohit and his father were going through a whirlpool of emotions.
