Spinning cricket ball does not follow the parabolic pathway.why?

The velocity of the air below the ball isdecreased because these two motions areopposing each other. Thus, the pressure on the upper side of the ball is lesser and thereis an upward force that works upon the ball. This makes the ball follow a curved path andnot a parabolic one.
