we can write it in the form of extander quadratic polynomial tha is..
ax sq + bx + c = 0

according to the question we have,
x sq + 0x - 4 = 0 ( at place of bx we can put 0x)

now splitting,
x sq + 0x - 4 = 0

x sq + 1x - 1x - 4 = 0
x(x+1) 1(x-1) - 4 = 0
(x+1) (x-1) = 0
x= -1 and x= +1 is the two zeroes of the polynomial.
