3x^2-2√6x+2=0.

The first term is,  3x2  its coefficient is  3.

The middle term is,  -2√6x  its coefficient is  -2√6.

The last term, "the constant", is  +2.

multiply both first term coefficient and the constant

so,3×2=6.

now find the factors of 6 whose sum is (-2√6).ie which is equal to middle term.

-(√6)   +  -(√6)   =   6.

now split the middle term in accordance with the factors that we got above.

first half

=》3x^2-√6x-√6x+2=0.

=》3x^2 = (√3x)(√3x). and -√6x = (√3x)(-√2)

above (√3x) is common in both .

second half

=》-√6x = (√3x)(-√2) and 2=(-√2)(-√2)

above (-√2) is common in both.

so,

√3x(√3x-√2)-√2(√3x-√2)=0.

=》(√3x-√2)(√3x-√2)=0.

=》√3x-√2=0 (or) √3x-√2=0 .

=》√3x = √2 (or) √3x = √2.

x= √2/√3 (or) x= √2/√3.

therefore 3x^2-2√6x+2=0. has equal roots.
