(7x^2 + 4x ) - (14x + 8)

x (7x + 4) - 2 (7x +4)

(x-2) (7x + 4)

7x² – 14x + 4x – 8 = 0

7x ( x – 2 ) + 4 ( x – 2 ) = 0

( 7x + 4 ) ( x – 2 ) = 0

( 7x + 4 ) = 0 or ( x – 2 ) = 0

x = – 4 / 7 or x = 2
