Hey there!
Down here⏬
• 4x^2 - 5x - 1 = 0
= 4x^2 - 5x + 1
• 4x^2 - 5x + 1
Product = 4×1 = 4
Sum = -5
p,q = -4, -1
Now, Product = -4×-1 = 4
Sum = -4+ -1 = -5
• 4x^2 - 4x - 1x - 1
4x (x-1) - 1 (x-1)
• (4x-1) (x-1)
Hope it helps.
