SPM is actually Suspended Particulate Matter. These particles include pollen grains, dust, smoke and many more small particles present in the air.

They hardly reach our lungs because, the hair in our nostrills will stop them reach our lungs.

So there is no problem if they enter once or twice or thrice. But if we are exposed to dust for several days we may get lung diseases like asthama and etc.......
