Spokane is flying the height of 5000m above the sea level. At a particular point, it is exactly above a submarine floating 1200m below the sea level. What is the vertical distance between them?

Let the height of the aeroplane = 5000m

And, the distance of submarine = -1200m

Hence, verticle distance between them = 5000 -(-1200) = 5000 + 1200 = 6200 m

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!
