Instead of ‘’than’’, ‘’to’’ will be used. In the sentence we use ‘’prefer’’ word when we like something more than other. When some person is talking about their preferences for the actions of other individual, we use the word ‘’prefer’’ in a sentence after that object pronoun will be used. Next we use ‘’to’’ infinitive instead of ‘’than’’ in a sentence. For example- I prefer going by car to walking.
